Secret agent for the CIA. Trying to rediscover a family relationship with her dad, a fellow spy, and deal with her murderous KGB agent mother, and a surprise half-sister. Fell in love with CIA agent Vaughn. Hates Arvin Sloane for many many reasons.			Secret agent for the CIA. Is learning to be a dad to Sydney, but his motivations are not always so clear. Discovers that his wife, whom he thought was dead and a traitor, is alive and causing more trouble. Will do anything to protect Syd, including apparently killing said wife.

Agent for the CIA. Broke the rules by falling in love with his asset, Syd. When Syd is declared dead, he marries someone else, only to discover two years later that Syd is alive and well, and that his wife is a terrrorist. So taking a page from Jack's book, he kills the wife.			Former CIA agent and former head of SD-6, left the feds after they "betrayed" him. Has taken a personal interest in Sydney for many years. Ruthless and obsessed with Rambaldi. His evil criminal background are just what the CIA needs to head their new black ops division, the APO.

Sydney's SD-6 partner. Family man, believed he was working for the CIA. Devastated to learn he was one of the bad guys, but joins the CIA when SD-6 is brought down. Spends some time behind the desk, but now is out in the field once more with Sydney.			Argentinian secret agent, daughter of Irina Derevko and Arvin Sloane. Brought up in orphanages in Argentina, her existence was only recently discovered by Sloane. Recruited to work at the APO with her half-sister Sydney. First time in her life she's had a family.

Techno-whiz. First he worked for SD-6, now the CIA. Makes the missions possible. No camera is too small to create, no lock too hard to disable, no sound too loud to deaden.			CIA agent, good friend of Vaughn's, now Sydney's. Despite some close calls, he's usually the guy at work offering needed humor support.

Assassin, spy. First he was working with Irina, then with Sloane, then Irina and Sloane, then with Lauren Reed aka the late Mrs. Vaughn. His loyalties are flexible. And he's often found in CIA custody.			(aka Laura Bristow) Sydney and Nadia's mom. Former KGB, sent to spy on Jack Bristow years ago, then faked death when Syd was 6. Obsessed with Rambaldi, she reappears briefly, only to go into hiding again. Apparently killed by Jack when he finds out she has tried to kill Sydney.

Sydney's best friend. Reporter who got in too deep while investigating SD-6. Learning more than he ever wanted to know about spies. Recruited for the CIA. After Syd's "death", he goes into witness protection, living somewhere in Wisconsin.			Sydney's best friend, housemate, and restaurateur. Clueless about Sydney's spy life. Unfortunately killed by a genetic double of herself, who has been almost killed by Syd several times. Did a number on Will, too.

Called in to interrogate Sydney when the Rambaldi prophesy was first discovered. Took over the Joint Task Force until recently, when he went back to his real job overseeing the DSR's Rambaldi investigation.			NSC agent, sent to work with the CIA. Daughter of a Senator, she's the woman Vaughn married during Syd's missing two years. But she's part of a terrorist group, a fact that Vaughn finds out, and he kills her.
