Vaughn takes a moment to whisper warning into a secret mike for Syd

who is in the middle of the fashion show from the start of the episode

So she starts those pleas for seeing the secret vial the guy says he has that's his secret power,
which still work on the ridiculously gullible scientist, who shows her the vial which she promptly steals

and runs down the still-absurdly-wide corridor
