pipes for cover

Short moments of techno-beat-music later, she and Dixon exit the Gallery    with the
encoder and the bad wishes of the Gallery    owner who didn't make a sale to cigar-
smoking Dixon
     

Syd's back in LA in time for Charlie's first show

and intros to Charlie's blond pianist

There's a brief interruption when Will gets a call from Eloise Kurtz, saying to come to her apartment tomorrow afternoon and she'll explain all
 

 

Then it's on to the show and Charlie starts to sing

to an enthusiastic whoop from Syd
and to an amazed Francie, who discovers Charlie's a good singer after all
