Sydney gets a call

from Vaughn who says the NSC knows and he'll help her

So Vaughn arranges for a plane to take Sydney to Rome, Syd's choice, and drives
her to the airport

Sydney says her own life isn't so hot and what he's doing helping her is going to mess us his life - Large  
Vaughn says some things change, some stay the same, and he doesn't want to lose her twice - Large  

which leads to a good hug

for both

and NO kiss

and a teary thanks you
and a goodbye
