The next day, Horatio tells the lieutenant a fib about his bruises

which earns him time on the rigging for telling fibs

Later, Horatio gets to go ashore to help the press gangs round up their "recruits"

Simpson divides the duties - Horatio gets to stand outside in the cold

while Simpson stays inside in the inn

Horatio eventually joins Simpson and a couple of others in a game of cards and is accused of cheating by Simpson		which leads the fed-up Horatio to challenge mean ol' Jack Simpson to a duel

Later, a picturesque discussion of the duel on the gun deck

You can't, says Archie		I must, says Horatio

Hmmm, says Clayton
